Caitriona Sherlock

Secondary School
Beech Hill College
Hailing from Co. Monaghan, Caitríona comes from a background of traditional music & song, beginning lessons in the traditional Sean-Nós style at the age of 7. Since then her passion has grown and she has represented her county in many Scór & Fleadh competitions including winning the All Ireland Fleadh singing competition in 2013 & 2017. She has also had the pleasure of singing Amhrán na bhFíann in Croke Park with the Artane band. Caitríona was a member of the Senior choir in Beech Hill College under the direction of Emily Mc Meel & Sinead Daly. She is delighted to be returning to the Choral Scholars and having the opportunity to continue learning and working on her choral singing while finishing her music degree.
Fun Fact
Although having performed on many stages, Caitríonas favourite place to sing is still in the field to her father's cows!
