Auditions

Can you sing? Have you ever sung in a choir? Whether you are
a solo singer or a keen choral singer, have the ability to read
music or struggle with the dots, the UCD Choral Scholars want
to hear from you! We want to hear your comfortable,

open, relaxed vocal sound.

Audition resources will be included below, as well as the Audition Portal,

where you can apply and download materials after you have been offered an audition. 

​

You are free to choose your own video piece for your application.

Invitations to audition will be strongly based on your video submission.

​

We encourage candidates to start studying the set choral work that we would like to hear in the audition in advance of receiving an invitation to audition.

 

Please note that there are limited places available in the ensemble, and that audition is by

invitation only, based on merit of your application.

 

We strongly urge you to apply, even if you don't have a choral background.

Closing date for online applications is Thursday, 18th September 2025.
Auditions will take place on Thursday, 25th September 2025.
