Auditions
Applications to join the ensemble for the
2023-2024 academic year are now closed.

Applications for the 2024-2025 academic year will open
later this year and close on 19th September 2024.
​
In-Person auditions will take place on 24th and 25th September 2024
Can you sing? Have you ever sung in a choir? Whether you are
a solo singer or a keen choral singer, have the ability to read
music or struggle with the dots, the UCD Choral Scholars want
to hear from you! We want to hear your comfortable,
open, relaxed vocal sound.

Audition resources will be included below, as well as the Audition Portal,
where you can apply and download materials after you have been offered an audition.

You are free to choose your own video piece for your application.
Invitations to audition will be strongly based on your video submission.
​
We encourage candidates to start studying the set choral work that we would like to hear in the audition in advance of receiving an invitation to audition.
Please note that there are limited places available in the ensemble, and that audition is by invitation only, based on merit of your application.
We strongly urge you to apply, even if you don't have a choral background.

If you are invited to audition, auditions will take place on the 26th and 27th of September 2023.
